Yesterday I drove up to Sarasota with Julian to visit New College. The only negative is that the closer you are to 75, the more old people there are, but near the coast you start seeing all the cheap motels, dinky restaurants, and students on bikes. But really, I think this is the best school I've ever seen. It's basically the most selective one in the state, but that only makes it better and more enticing, & just everything about it was so amazing and beautiful and exciting and anything good! When we got home, my old friends from a couple years ago all got together, and it was the first time in months. I can't really describe how great yesterday was, but that's okay! I thought of an excellent sentence before I fell asleep last night, and though I don't remember the words, it basically said with work and studying the mind is focused, and that really allows clarity. Or maybe I just like the paradoxical. 

I want to study everything, be the best, and explore for the rest of my life, now doesn't that sound pleasant?
